About Olivia Schwager
As a health and wellness professional, my philosophy is, “You cannot be your best self until you make your health a priority. Make the change and be well!” Our culture puts pressure on us to stay busy and ignore the physical and emotional needs of our bodies. My goal is to help individuals learn simple and effective ways to become or stay healthy both physically and mentally. I am passionate about helping others feel confident in taking steps to make a healthy change at their pace and comfort level. I recognize each person’s journey to change is different, but with group support and resources the change will be accomplished to be the best you.
I completed my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health, Wellness and Injury Prevention from Oakland University. I focused on health promotion, program implementation and evaluation, and the development of health education programs.
My experience in health and wellness includes corporate wellness in both manufacturing and business environments. I am also a Certified Wellness Practitioner (National Wellness Institute) and certified in Mental Health First Aid (National Council for Behavioral Health).
On a more personal note, I enjoy traveling, being in the kitchen, exercising, golfing and volunteering for my sorority Phi Sigma Sigma. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and you will find us constantly hanging out with our family, friends and Siberian Husky named Sky.
