I believe therapy starts with feeling seen, heard, and accepted as you are. My style is warm, genuine, and down to earth, and I value getting to know you as a whole person, not just the concerns that bring you in. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Together, we can explore what matters to you, better understand your experiences, make space for difficult emotions, and work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Detroit Mercy.
My Unique Approach to Therapy
My approach is humanistic, person-centered, and holistic. I believe you are the expert on your own experience, and I see therapy as a collaborative process. Your experiences have shaped you, but they do not define all of who you are. I approach your story with curiosity and compassion, recognizing that the ways we learn to cope often develop for a reason. Because therapy is not one-size-fits-all, I draw from ACT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness based approaches while tailoring our work to your individual needs and goals. Whether we are making space for difficult emotions, processing difficult experiences, building practical skills, or exploring what matters most to you, my goal is to meet you where you are.
