As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my passion lies in helping people feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their mental health journey. I strive to create a welcoming, compassionate, and judgment-free space where patients can openly discuss their concerns and feel empowered in their care. I value collaboration, education, and evidence-based practice, and I believe in treating the whole person—mind and body—rather than just symptoms. Each treatment plan is thoughtfully tailored to meet the individual needs, values, and goals of every patient.
I provide mental health care for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and insomnia. My approach integrates careful medication management, patient education, and supportive therapeutic care to promote healing, resilience, and lasting improvement in overall quality of life.
My Unique Approach to Therapy
My approach to care is holistic, collaborative, and deeply patient-centered. I believe therapy and medication management are most effective when grounded in trust, open communication, and a thorough understanding of each individual’s lived experience. By integrating evidence-based treatment with compassionate support and education, I empower patients to actively participate in their healing and develop practical tools for long-term emotional wellness.
Specialized & Extended Training
My specialized training is supported by a strong clinical background that includes experience as a bedside nurse, inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, and working with individuals facing substance use disorders, including acute detoxification. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Ohio University and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Toledo, providing a well-rounded foundation for compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. This diverse experience allows me to approach treatment with a holistic, informed, and patient-centered perspective.
