About Me: Lamont Conley

My mission as a therapist is rooted in a deep desire to assist individuals overcome challenges they're facing. My master's level social work education at Wayne State University has laid a solid foundation for my career as a clinical therapist. However, I believe that success as a therapist extends far beyond one's success in the classroom. Life experiences, continuing education, and honest feedback from clients and supervisors is continually strengthening my services. I have experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, relationship issues, childhood trauma, work-related stress, self-esteem issues, and more. I am particularly experienced at supporting those with anxiety/stress related challenges. I also have experience working with clients who are aged 12 to 65+.

My Unique Approach to Therapy

My therapeutic approach consists of compassion, curiosity, and competence. As a therapist, my role is to walk alongside you to support you in achieving your goals. Active listening skills, thoughtful questions, and empathy are the pillars of my practice. You are a unique individual, so I tailor my services to meet your needs. You have the power to transform your life and I'm here to provide tools, resources, and support to facilitate that transformation. My service to you is informed by learning more about you as an individual and forming an individualized treatment plan that works best for you.

Specialized & Extended Training

I have years of experience in ministry and a Bachelor's in Christian Education from Midwestern Christian Institute. Each has prepared me for service in Christian Counseling for those seeking it.
