As a therapist, I believe that healing begins with authentic connection and curiosity. I work with those who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, self-esteem difficulties and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that each person already holds the strength and wisdom they need to grow. I’m passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their experiences, build resilience, and truly feel seen and heard. Together, we’ll discover what’s getting in the way and build practical tools for confidence, resilience, and emotional well-being.
My Unique Approach to Therapy
My work is grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centered approach. I integrate evidence- based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness, tailoring each session to meet my clients where they are at. I believe therapy should feel both supportive and empowering—focusing not only on symptom relief but on strengthening self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal growth. In our sessions, we’ll work at a pace that feels safe and manageable, always with the goal of helping you feel more grounded and in control of your life.
Specialized & Extended Training
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from McGill University in Montreal, where I received rigorous clinical training with a focus on mental health and working with youth and families. I have completed advanced training in trauma-focused care, including work with survivors of complex trauma and childhood adversity. I’ve also pursued additional education in adolescent mental health, anxiety disorders, and attachment-based therapy. My clinical background includes experience in both community mental health and school-based settings, which informs my understanding of the many systems and stressors people face. I remain committed to ongoing learning and supervision in order to bring the most effective and compassionate care to those I work with.
