I am all about being unapologetically authentic, embracing the entirety of YOU, and discovering WHO YOU ARE. In my therapy room, we explore the complete being, addressing trauma, self-doubt, stress, and triggers. I adopt a person-centered and collaborative approach with my clients because they are the true artists of their lives. Allowing the world to shape you means you’re not living in your truth. My role is to assist clients in living purposefully and with intent. My techniques encompass the mind, body, and spirit, incorporating creative elements into the therapeutic process. This approach allows clients to witness how nurturing their life garden can transform into a field of dreams, aspirations, confidence, and self-love.
The therapy room serves as a safe space for clients to express their true authentic selves, free from judgment and with the opportunity to build trust in themselves and the services provided. My aim is for clients to feel heard, valued, and supported, fostering the guidance needed to lead their lives in a positive direction. I strive to facilitate breakthroughs, empowering clients to answer the question ‘WHO AM I?’ with confidence.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Rochester University and completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at Michigan School of Psychology. My clinical experience encompasses CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Humanistic Psychology, and other evidence-based interventions. However, I employ a creative, person-centered approach to assist my clients. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults, specializing in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, sexual abuse, inner child, generational trauma, stress management, and self-worth/confidence.
My Unique Approach to Therapy
I incorporate various aspects of life into the therapy room, utilizing mindfulness, yoga, music, art, and dance as mediums for clients to express their inner feelings. I prioritize focusing on the present moment with clients, being fully engaged every step of the way. We collaborate to ensure goals are met and establish new ones as needed. My clients are more than just a ‘number’; they are unique individuals, and my role is to help them bring out their uniqueness. My approach is dynamic and never repetitive; each session is distinct, enhancing the therapeutic environment. Together, we peel back the layers to reveal the authentic person and support them in becoming whole.
