About Jordan Reynolds
Perhaps you are feeling unfulfilled, troubled with uncertainties, or having difficulty finding ways to cope. I am passionate about supporting you through these overwhelming times. I utilize a strengths-based approach that will empower you to reach your goals and live a more satisfying life. I view therapy as a unique experience that is tailored to fit every individual.
I graduated with my B.A. in Psychology from Oakland University and my Master's in Social Work from the University of Michigan, where I focused on interpersonal practice and mental health. I have clinical experience working with adolescents and adults with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. My skill set incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
As a therapist, my goal is to provide individuals with a comfortable and empathetic environment. I place a high value on creating a genuine client-therapist relationship that encompasses mutual trust and respect. I believe that every person is deserving of an opportunity to better understand themselves and reach their full potential. I will work directly alongside you as we navigate your journey of personal growth and work to create positive change.
Unique Approach to Therapy
What makes my approach unique? I am regularly asking for feedback from my patients. How is the treatment going? Are we addressing issues you care about? Do you feel you are making measurable progress? At Start My Wellness, we help people actively engage in making therapy as useful and user friendly as possible. We use this feedback to improve treatment methods, guide therapist training and improve overall customer satisfaction. We believe this patient-centered approach makes Start My Wellness world-class.
