About Me: Vanessa Landrum

Drawing from my unique experience as both a Certified Nurse Midwife and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I create a safe, supportive space where individuals can show up as their full, authentic selves. I approach care with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s unique experiences; and I am dedicated to improving access to high-quality mental health care in underserved communities

My style is collaborative and nonjudgmental, focusing on building trust and helping clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe mental health care should feel approachable and personalized—not overwhelming—and I work alongside each individual to support meaningful, lasting change.

My Unique Approach to Therapy

I approach care with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for your lived experience. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach—our work together is personalized, collaborative, and guided by what feels most supportive for you.

I value creating a nonjudgmental environment where you can be open and honest, while also feeling empowered in your care. Whether we’re exploring patterns, building coping strategies, or simply creating space to process, I walk alongside you every step of the way.

Specialized & Extended Training

I am a dual-certified provider with training in both midwifery and psychiatric mental health, as well as Perinatal Mental Health Certified. These experiences allow me to take a comprehensive, whole-person approach to care. My education and clinical experience have equipped me to support individuals with a range of mental health needs using evidence-based practices.

I am committed to continued learning and staying up to date with current approaches in mental health care to ensure I provide thoughtful, high-quality support to every client I serve.
